Welcome to American Legion’s Post 1080 Home Page. Our Post was established on May 29th, 1931 overlooking scenic Lake Mahopac. The post sits on the site of a historical railway station that was one of many that helped fuel economic growth and the establishment of the hamlet that exists today. We are a scenic one hour drive from New York City via either the Taconic Parkway or Interstate 684.
